The Library Hotel is a concept hotel inspired by the Dewey Decimal system. Each of the ten floors is honoured to one of the system’s ten categories. The sixty rooms are adorned with a collection of books and art, which showcases that particular category’s topic. Guests are encouraged to make the most of the six-thousand books available.
So after a long day exploring New York City, take the weight off your feet, take a bubble bath, and curl up with a good book.
The hotel is located on the corner of 41st St, which was once referred to as Library Way; and Madison Avenue, near the New York Public Library. The hotel is situated one block away from Bryant Park, which becomes the quintessential New York scene in winter with Christmas markets, and ice-skating, and in summer with free outdoor movies.
